meet your designer
A once inhabitant of the new world, I was washed ashore on the remote islands of Orkney with my wife in the summer of 2021.
A wee bit about me: I’m Zak. I was born in BC, Canada, and have been an avid graphic artist since I was thirteen years old. I desired to be in a band right after school, and pursued music in my early twenties. I played live in venues in Canada. This opened up many design doors for me, creating merchandise not just for my own projects, but for other artists as well. Eventually, I put the music aside and travelled, focusing on the connections I made and improving my graphic design journey. From album packaging and vinyl record sleeves, to websites and rebranding businesses, and even post-production photography on the late Queen Elizabeth herself. I’ve been doing this for almost 12 years now, and the industry is still growing and changing. Today you can find me doing joinery projects, surfing at Skaill, out for beach walks with the family and our pet husky, and definitely enjoying a cold crisp craft brew.
Oh, and about design.
Branding is built in my core. I breathe visual, and I am always excited to help others create and make something bigger and bolder than it ever could be.
If you’re starting a new business, or need a new website,
even business cards made up, I’m more than happy to help.
Let’s get lost in it, together.
